Authorities are investigating an outbreak of norovirus at the Minnesota Veterans Home that may have been connected to four deaths last weekend. As of this point, officials said that there has been only one hospitalization they have confirmed to be connected with the outbreak.
Nearly 50 elementary school students are sick following a trip to YMCA Camp Pepin earlier this week, officials say. Farmington Schools Superintendent Jay Haugen said a group of fifth graders from Akin Road Elementary brought the illness – which is reportedly acting like a norovirus – with them to the camp earlier this week.
