A 23-year-old Norwood Young America man has been charged in a deputy-involved shooting in April, and charges have been declined against the deputy involved, the Carver County Attorney’s Office announced Friday.
Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Norwood Young America early Friday morning. According to the Carver County Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to a call around 2:40 a.m. of a shooting at a Kwik Trip, located on the corner of Highway 5 and Highway 212.
