1 Dead In Carver Co. Rollover

One man is dead after a rollover crash in Carver County Sunday night.
Forty-year-old Bradley Scott Schauer, of Young America Township, died after sustaining serious injuries in a rollover crash.

Man, 25, Missing From Wright Co.

A Wright County man has been reported missing by family, according to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. Police said Christopher Michael Rossing, 25, has not been seen or heard from since the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 22.

Princess Kay Of The Milky Way Crowned

A University of Minnesota student from Norwood-Young America is the 61st Princess Kay of the Milky Way. Nineteen-year-old Jeni Haler was crowned Wednesday night at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Her first official duty will be to sit for nearly six hours on the opening day of the State Fair on Thursday to have her likeness sculpted from a 90-pound block of butter.

Man Pulled By Horse Water Skis Through Puddle

The flooding that’s happening around Minnesota may be causing problems for some, but others are having a little fun with it. One Norwood Young America family may have even created a new sport. Rachel Slathar posted a video of her dad waterskiing through a big puddle being pulled by her horse.

Teen’s Body Pulled From Carver County Lake

Rescue crews recovered the body of a teenager from a Carver County lake late Friday evening. The sheriff’s office received a report at about 7:30 p.m. that a teen swimming in Eagle Lake near Baylor Regional Park went underwater and never resurfaced.
