Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that Tony-Award winning singer Idina Menzel will sing the U.S. national anthem at next week’s All-Star Game at Target Field. It’s one of many musical performances that will be a part of the All-Star Game experience in Minneapolis.
Pop rocker Melissa Etheridge is set to headline Target Field’s second annual Skyline Festival in early August. Other performers include O.A.R., The Rembrandts and local acts Gear Daddies and The Honeydogs.
More than 30,000 people are expected to attend the 18th annual Basilica Block Party in downtown Minneapolis. And with temperatures reaching 100 degrees, precautions are being taken.
