A South Dakota couple got to say their “I Dos” Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis. They’re hoping their ceremony will help change a policy in their home state. “Congratulations to this fabulous couple. Twenty-seven years together. Twenty-seven years of family. Twenty-seven years of love and commitment,” Mayor Betsy Hodges said at the ceremony.
Larry Gallagher was a top-notch athlete growing up in Columbia Heights, and along the way he started umpiring baseball games. Nearly 60 years since his first game, he’s still doing it almost every day.
