Hoffman, Anderson Lead Senators Past Wild 3-0

Mike Hoffman scored twice and Craig Anderson stopped 34 shots to lead the Ottawa Senators over the Minnesota Wild 3-0 Thursday night. Clarke MacArthur also had a goal for the Senators. Anderson earned his second shutout this season and the 28th of his career. Niklas Backstrom made 14 saves for Minnesota. The Wild have outshot their opponents in all 12 games this season, but they’ve lost their past two.

Lehner Stops 27 Shots, Senators Blank Wild 3-0

Kyle Turris had a goal and an assist, Robin Lehner made 27 saves for his second career shutout and the Ottawa Senators beat the Minnesota Wild 3-0 on Tuesday night.

Despite Injury And Illness, The Wild Are Finding Confidence

Josh Harding and Zach Parise are working on getting in game shape as the Wild are working on winning their sixth in seven games with Ottawa in town. Harding is making progress, hoping to be back soon. However, he’s not getting specific about his illness issues. He has multiple sclerosis.
