University of Minnesota president Eric Kaler says he takes “full responsibility” for hiring Norwood Teague as the Gophers’ athletic director. Kaler told WCCO-AM Wednesday he hired Teague and that he takes “full responsibility for doing that. That’s my job.”

The University of Minnesota paid a search firm more than $112,000 in 2012 to find and help recruit Norwood Teague as athletic director. Teague resigned earlier this month after two women came forward with sexual harassment claims against him.
