Friends and family of a St. Paul woman killed in a hit-and-run say they’re not giving up. They’re working to help police find the driver who killed 53-year-old Tracy Klotz three months ago.
Police made some quick arrests after several musical instruments were stolen from local college campuses. On Friday, St. Paul Police asked for the public’s help in locating a couple suspected in the burglaries. A few hours later, Sgt. Paul Paulos received a phone call from Richfield Police, who said they had the couple in custody.
Technology is helping law enforcement reduce the risk of a high-speed chase. The new tool, from Star Chase, allows officers to track a fleeing vehicle with a GPS device, rather than pursuing the suspect in a squad car.
