Minneapolis officials say crews are currently working to fix on-street parking pay stations that have gone out of service in an area including most of downtown.
It’s out with the old and in with the new when it comes to paying for parking in Minneapolis. The city is saying a final farewell to its old-style parking meters officially on Wednesday.
Downtown meters are getting an upgrade. The city of Minneapolis says they’ve installed 36 more pay stations this month, replacing the old, coin-operated meters downtown.
