Minneapolis Chief of Police Janee Harteau said she launched an investigation after allegations that police went too far, even potentially harming a young boy, while monitoring a rally outside city hall Wednesday evening.
An Eagan elementary school is restricting access to its building after police warned the district that a man arrested in May outside of a Lakeville school was in the area. District 196 officials say Northview Elementary is in “shelter in place” mode, which means normal classroom operations are in effect but entrance to the building is restricted.
Forest Lake Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect in an attempted sexual assault.
