An Eagan elementary school is restricting access to its building after police warned the district that a man arrested in May outside of a Lakeville school was in the area. District 196 officials say Northview Elementary is in “shelter in place” mode, which means normal classroom operations are in effect but entrance to the building is restricted.
Forest Lake Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect in an attempted sexual assault. The incident happened Monday evening in the Washington County Library’s parking lot when a woman was approached by a man in a vehicle who offered her $20 for sexual favors. After the woman told him no, he got out of his car and grabbed her arm and breast.
