A Coon Rapids man has pleaded guilty in a drunken-driving crash that killed a teenage boy last summer.
The State Patrol says it’s investigating a crash in Wright County that left a 52-year-old Annandale woman dead. The crash happened just after 7 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Highway 55 and Oliver Avenue, just west of Annandale. A Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Susan J. Williams, was going north on County Road 3, which becomes Oliver Avenue.
The man who led authorities on a high-speed chase Wednesday shortly after a police officer was shot and killed has been charged with two felonies unrelated to the officer’s death.
A family spokesman says two of the children rescued from a pond after a car veered off a suburban Minneapolis highway ramp are improving. Attorney Rick Petry said Friday the two are now responding to health workers’ commands. He calls that “a huge improvement.”
