The Future Looks Bright For The Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings had a disappointing finish to an encouraging season. Jared Allen will undergo surgery on his shoulder after the Pro Bowl later this month. The Vikings now begin preparation for the draft in April and evaluating its 14 free agents.

Four Minnesota Vikings Named To The Pro Bowl, Multiple Players Snubbed

A lot has happened with the Minnesota Vikings. The team had four players selected to the Pro Bowl. Blair Walsh tied or broke multiple records Sunday at Houston and Antoine Winfield suffered a fracture in his hand Sunday. The Vikings game time for its final regular season game against the Green Bay Packers has changed. Minnesota lost two players to the Jacksonville Jaguars on waivers. Adrian Peterson donates money to Team Rubicon.

Minnesota Vikings Honor Adrian Peterson With Courage Award

The Minnesota Vikings named Adrian Peterson as the team’s Ed Block Courage Award. Despite Peterson’s chase for the single season rushing record, head coach Leslie Frazier believes his focus remains on beating the Houston Texans. Head Coach Believes Sunday Was The Way The Minnesota Vikings Need To Win

The Minnesota Vikings are in the thick of the playoff chase and their head coach believes they have the formula to win championships. Punter Chris Kluwe was fined for a uniform infraction. Chris Cook is on track to return from a broken arm in Week 16. The Vikings replaced wide receiver Percy Harvin on the 53-man roster with offensive tackle Troy Kropog. Minnesota signed tight end LaMark Brown to the practice squad to take Kropog’s spot.

Minnesota Vikings Place Percy Harvin On Injured Reserve

The Minnesota Vikings announced Percy Harvin will miss the rest of the season due to the ankle injury he suffered four and a half weeks ago. Jared Allen also is dealing with injuries, but his ailments are not severe enough to force him to miss any games. Allen also responded to inquiries that he may face retaliation from the Chicago Bears for a hit that ended Lance Louis’ season. Christian Ponder may have a shorter leash than he has had in any game this season.

Minnesota Viking Jared Allen Draws Criticism For Block

The Chicago Bears did not like the block that Jared Allen laid on offensive lineman Lance Louis during Sunday’s game. Leslie Frazier was upset with Adrian Peterson for missing the team bus prior to Sunday’s game. Mistral Raymond had a touchdown confirmed then overturned in a matter of minutes. The Vikings saw one of its practice squad players sign with another team early in the week.

Minnesota Vikings Face Another Injured Quarterback Quandary

The Minnesota Vikings face another team with an injured or banged up quarterback Sunday at Soldier Field. Percy Harvin still has not practiced since injuring his ankle in Seattle, but is feeling good. Head coach Leslie Frazier noticed the turf conditions during the Bears’ last game at Soldier Field.

The Minnesota Vikings have struggled with its passing offense in recent weeks. The Vikings are trying to make adjustments to improve. However, if Percy Harvin is unable to play it will be difficult for the Vikings to move the ball through the air.

The Minnesota Vikings were dominating the Washington Redskins in the first quarter Sunday. However, a three scoring drives that ended in field goals instead of touchdowns cost the Vikings the game. The Vikings found out this week that it will play the Pittsburgh Steelers next season in London, England.

The Minnesota Vikings may face a different quarterback and offense in Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins than it has all season long. The Redskins utilize Griffin’s running ability by using an option scheme. Griffin’s rushing total on the season is just 58 yards less than the other five starting quarterbacks the Viking have faced this season combined.

Minnesota Vikings Likely To Face Tennessee Titans Backup Quarterback

The Minnesota Vikings will face Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. The Vikings got linebacker Erin Henderson from a concussion Wednesday, his status for Sunday is still unknown. Chad Greenway was fined for his hit on Calvin Johnson and the Vikings want from the NFL why Josh Robinson was flagged for a personal foul penalty on a tackle.

The Minnesota Vikings look to end an 11-game losing streak to divisional opponents in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
