Bethany Good is charged in Ramsey County with felony aggravated forgery and a misdemeanor charge of making a false statement in a birth registration for allegedly trying to extort money from a man.
A Twin Cities teenager who was paralyzed in a car crash is back home with her family. Three months ago, Amarya Ward-West’s dad, Earl Ward, crashed his vehicle in a construction zone in St. Paul. Investigators say Ward ran from the scene, leaving his kids — 8-year-old Almond and 14-year-old Amarya — alone and injured.
Friends and family of Kelly Phillips said Tuesday that the anonymous tipster who led authorities to suspected murder Ty Hoffman will receive the full $40,000 reward. The tipster called police in Shakopee last Thursday morning after spotting Hoffman in the Southbridge Crossing Shopping Center.

A 20-year-old South St. Paul man is accused of threatening to kill police and at least one officer with the Minnesota State Patrol on social media, according to charges filed Thursday in Dakota County Court. Harrison William Rund was charged with felony terroristic threats in connection with the incident, which happened on Tuesday after receiving a speeding ticket.
A Vadnais Heights woman is charged with one count of criminal vehicular homicide after the hit-and-run death of a 92-year-old motorcyclist in St. Paul on Friday morning. According to the Ramsey County Attorney’s office, 27-year-old Autumn Brenae Mason stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Ivy Avenue and Prosperity Avenue at 7:45 a.m. Roy W. Kromschroeder, 92, was also at a stopped at the intersection, which is controlled by stop signs in all directions.
Authorities have released the identity of the St. Paul officer who shot and injured a domestic assault suspect Sunday night. The officer has been identified as Mark Farrington, a 12-year-veteran of the St. Paul Police force.

According to the Ramsey County Attorney’s office, 18-year-old Curtez DeShawn Graham was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, three counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of kidnapping and one count of first-degree robbery.
A Brooklyn Park man allegedly stole a car from a St. Paul repair shop that he frequents, crashed and flipped it, then fled the scene early Thursday evening. According to St. Paul Police Sgt. Paul Paulos, 20-year-old Mario Zacate allegedly stole a 1996 Honda Accord from Tires & More auto shop at 847 White Bear Ave N. in St. Paul. After driving two miles, Zacate ran a stop sign while traveling south on Cypress Street
