Gophers’ Win Streak Rewarded With No. 25 Ranking

Thanks to a four-game win streak, the Gopher football team cracked the national rankings, as Minnesota is now slated No. 25 in the Coaches Poll. The last time the Gophers rattled off four-straight Big Ten victories was 1973, and after Saturday’s 24-10 victory over Penn State, the program has finally caught the attention of the national landscape.

Minneapolis is ranked No. 11, nationally, for Halloween trick or treating. Real Estate website Zillow.com charted the top 20 and also has detailed the top five neighborhoods in Minneapolis.

Mankato’s New Coach Has Team Ranked No. 2 Nationally

The No. 2-ranked Minnesota State Mankato football team travels to No. 7-ranked Minnesota Duluth in a show down this Saturday. The head coach is Aaron Keen, who was named when Tood Hoffner was dismissed prior last season for a case that is ongoing regarding pictures on his cell phone. Keen stepped in, delivered his message, and his Mavericks are responding. The squad is currently 2-0.
