Parking Lot Sex Assault Suspect Charged In New Cases

A man accused of a brutal sexual assault in a downtown parking ramp is now charged with two other cases. Peijan Hodges was charged last week with four counts of criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly followed a woman to her car and raped her. According to new charges — just two hours before that — he attacked another woman in the same parking ramp.

Police Step Up Search For Mpls. Parking Ramp Attacker

Minneapolis Police are asking for the public’s help in catching the man who attacked two women in a downtown Minneapolis parking ramp. The separate attacks happened Tuesday afternoon on the seventh floor of Ramp C, on the corner of 4th Street and 2nd Avenue North. Police say the attacks in broad daylight are cause for heightened public concern.

‘Pastor’ Gets 12-Year Sentence For Raping Girls

A 62-year-old Maplewood man and self-proclaimed pastor was sentenced Thursday to 12 years in prison for raping two young girls for almost a decade. Jacoby Kindred was convicted on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and was given consecutive sentences of 144 months for each.

Local Frat Faces Backlash Over UW-Milwaukee Drugging Incident

A local fraternity is catching some heat over a frat party at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where investigators say female students were allegedly given date rape drugs. Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) is being investigated by school officials, its national organization and campus police. The party happened on Sept. 12, and according to the Huffington Post, girls considered “hot” were allowed to purchase index cards giving them all access to the house.

MSU Student Charged With Dorm Rape

A student at Minnesota State University Moorhead is facing criminal charges after being accused of raping an 18-year-old girl during a night of drinking in a dorm. According to the Clay County Attorney’s Office, 23-year-old Angel Mario Vega is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of providing liquor to someone under 21.

Minnesota Man Gets 27 Years For Raping Woman

An Anoka County judge has sentenced a 36-year-old man to 27 years in prison for abducting and raping a woman in Fridley after telling her he was a police officer. Gideon Charles Arrington II of Brooklyn Center was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to one count of first-degree criminal sexual assault in May.

A Little Canada chiropractor accused of sexually assaulting a patient still has an active license to practice. That means right now he’s still allowed to see patients during the investigation. Paul Thompson was arrested two weeks ago after a patient told police he raped her and had touched her inappropriately before.

Former Viking Darren Sharper Charged With Rape In California

Former NFL safety Darren Sharper has been charged in Los Angeles with drugging and raping two women, prosecutors said Friday. Sharper was expected to be arraigned on two counts of rape by use of drugs, four counts of furnishing a controlled substance, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
