Saturday is Record Store Day all across the country and in the Twin Cities. For the 8th year, stores are celebrating with live music, giveaways, limited vinyl releases and food.

Saturday will be a special day — a day to appreciate something old that is new once again. It’s National Record Store Day across the country. “As a long-term record buyer, I can tell you it’s the funnest day of the year.”

The Electric Fetus says it’s “going to be a bigger line-up of in-store performances than ever” when the store celebrates Record Store Day Saturday. In its seventh year, Record Store Day features exclusive releases only available at indie record stores, in-store performances from many local artists, giveaways, local food trucks and more.
Saturday is the day to celebrate as it’s Record Store Day across the nation. Customers waited outside the Electric Fetus Saturday morning to get their first dibs on their favorite records.
