Mississippi River Closes To Barges, Recreational Traffic

The U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers will officially close the navigation system on the upper Mississippi River Dec. 3, after what’s been a bit of an unusual season.

Mpls. Locks To Close To Recreational Traffic Friday

The St. Paul district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close three Twin Citiies locks to recreational boats Friday morning at 10 a.m. due to increasing high water flows in the Mississippi River.
