Three people are in stable condition after being shot Friday night in Richfield. Police were called to the area of 77th Street and Nicollet Avenue at about 11:22 p.m. on a report of shots fired.
A tip back in April led investigators to a big drug bust in the Twin Cities on Sunday, which will take a lot of marijuana off the streets. According to Richfield Police, officers arrested 31-year-old Eric Latroy Dubose. During a search of his New Hope apartment, police seized more than 15 pounds of marijuana, $48,000 in cash and a loaded .45 caliber handgun.
Two armed men armed men allegedly robbed an Old Country Buffet in Richfield, Minn. around 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Officials said the two men entered the restaurant, located on East 66th Street, and held numerous employees at gun point. They were able to leave with a undisclosed amount of money from the restaurant’s safe.
Police made some quick arrests after several musical instruments were stolen from local college campuses. On Friday, St. Paul Police asked for the public’s help in locating a couple suspected in the burglaries. A few hours later, Sgt. Paul Paulos received a phone call from Richfield Police, who said they had the couple in custody.
Police are investigating the murder of a 20-year-old Richfield man who was shot to death late Saturday afternoon. Richfield Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 6900 block of 16th Avenue South at 4:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old man dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
