River’s Edge Music Festival
A decades-old tradition is heading back to the island next summer after a number of years off. Organizers with the Taste of Minnesota have announced that the popular summer event will return to Harriet Island next Fourth of July weekend.
Saturday is the start of the two-day River’s Edge Music Festival. About 35,000 people are expected for the Harriet Island, event which features national acts like Dave Matthews and Tool as well as local acts.
Motion City Soundtrack, one of the biggest Minneapolis-bands-gone-good in the last decade or so, will head back to their roots to help kick off the inaugural River’s Edge Music Festival this weekend.
