Two men were charged Tuesday after police say they beat and robbed a man in the locker room of a Life Time Fitness in Eden Prairie, according to the Hennepin County Attorney.
An armed robber is on the loose after tying up an employee and a customer at an Alexandria video store Monday night, according to Alexandria Police. The incident happened at Premiere Video at approximately 10 p.m., when a man with a black handgun forced an employee to give him an undetermined amount of money from the store’s cash register and safe.
Eden Prairie Police are investigating after two victims were assaulted and robbed about an hour apart. In the first incident, officers responded to a 911 call around 5:50 p.m. Sunday to the Life Time Fitness at 6233 Baker Road.

A second teenager accused of assaulting a former Minneapolis mayoral candidate has been charged Monday, according to Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman. Seventeen-year-old Deea Leshawn Elliot was charged by juvenile petition with two counts of aggravated first-degree robbery and one count of second-degree assault for an attack on Mark Andrew, 63, at the Mall of America on Thursday. According to the criminal complaint, a young man grabbed Andrew’s iPhone from him in a Starbucks at the MOA. Andrew chased after the suspect, but was stopped by Elliot and 18-year-old Letajia Cutler Cain, who blocked the shop’s door.

A woman was robbed of her purse at gunpoint outside of a St. Cloud pharmacy on Christmas evening, according to St. Cloud Police. The robbery took place after 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy at 2420 W. Division Street. A 32-year-old St. Cloud woman was approached by a male gunman who demanded her purse. The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years of age and between 5’8″-5’9″ with a thin build. He had facial hair, including a goatee, and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.
