For all those who can’t foot that ticket to Pamplona, there’s an event in the north metro where people can grab life by the horns. Inspired by the running of the bulls in Spain, organizers in Elk River held a run with the same adrenaline rush.
The Running of the Bulls is a popular event every year in Spain – but there’s no need to travel to Europe if you want the thrill. The Great Bull Run is coming to the Elk River Extreme Motor Park Saturday. There will be several running of the bulls throughout the day starting at 11:30 a.m.

There will be no “Running of the Bulls” at Canterbury Park after all. While Canterbury had not formally agreed to host “The Great Bull Run” next year, the event was tentatively scheduled for next May.
