Some Minnesota kids took a trip to a place most of us dream about visiting Tuesday night. They didn’t escape winter by heading someplace warm. They hopped a flight to the North Pole!

Starting Saturday, one of the classic holiday attractions of Minneapolis will be open to the public. Santaland is located on the eight floor of Macy’s downtown store. Denise Cattoor is vice president store manager. “This is the 52nd year of Santaland, and we’re very excited to have this tradition for all of our customers here in the Twin Cities,” Cattoor said.

As you can imagine, the U.S. Postal Service is plenty busy this time of year. Holiday cards and presents are being sent all over the country.
