Prairie Home Companion and the tales of Lake Wobegon are celebrating 40 years. Saturday night, to commemorate the anniversary, Prairie Home Companion returned to the site of its very first broadcast. The radio show with Garrison Keillor was back at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.
Finally, on Sunday many people had a much-needed, sunny day to dry out. But the extensive damage from flooding in several parts of the state will take a long time to fix. The process is underway to tally up the damage and see if the state qualifies for federal aid.
