A two-vehicle crash in St. Croix County has left one man dead and another with serious injuries Thursday evening. According to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s office, the fatal accident occurred at 5:24 p.m. on Highway 63, approximately one-quarter miles east of 240th Street in Cylon Township. Isrrael Romos of Clear Lake, 33, was driving a 2000 Honda Civic westbound on HWY 63, and for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line. A 1991 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by 46-year-old Daniel J. Rittman of Menomonie, Wis., struck the passenger side of the Civic.
Two people are hospitalized with serious injuries after a head-on collision late Monday afternoon near New Prague. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 18-year-old Justin Nelson of Farmington was driving eastbound on Highway 19, west of Church Avenue, when his 1995 Honda Accord crossed the center lane. Nelson collided head-on with 35-year-old Elizabeth Alvarez of Le Sueur, who was driving a 2000 Chevy Blazer.
Authorities want to know what happened to a man who was found early Saturday morning in Fridley with serious injuries.
A nine-year-old boy who was dirt biking was found dead Friday evening in a trail area of Oak Grove, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
