One person was injured when a motorcycle lost control in Dakota County Saturday afternoon. According to the accident report, around 12:53 p.m. 57-year-old Donald C. Zollars, of St. James, was traveling northbound on I-35 on a Harley FLH when he lost control nearly County Road 70.
A Ramsey man is facing charges accusing him of seriously injuring his 77-year-old father-in-law, who remains hospitalized with a brain injury, according to charges filed in Anoka County.

Minneapolis police say a 39-year-old man was critically injured in an Uptown hit-and-run early Friday morning. According to police spokesman John Elder, at around 2 a.m., a man was on foot in the middle of the street near Lyndale Avenue and 26th Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Lyndale. The victim was thrown into the air and landed “some distance” from where he was struck, Elder said.
