Gophers Win Ice Breaker Tournament To Start Season 2-0

The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team, ranked No. 1 in preseason polls, got the 2014-15 season off to a 2-0 at the Ice Breaker Tournament at the University of Notre Dame. The Gophers beat Minnesota-Duluth 4-3 Friday afternoon and claimed the tournament title with a 3-0 win over RPI on Sunday. I

Gophers Top St. Cloud State 4-1 In North Star College Cup

Adam Wilcox made 38 saves in net as the No. 1-ranked Gophers hockey team beat No. 5-ranked St. Cloud State 4-1 Friday night in the North Star College Cup at Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota improved to 18-2-3 with the win and advanced to Saturday night’s championship game of the all-Minnesota tournament.

Gopher Hockey Unbeaten After Win Over Boston College

The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team stayed unbeaten after a dominating 6-1 win over No. 5-ranked Boston College on Sunday at Mariucci Arena. The Gophers (4-0-1) played the Eagles to a 3-3 tie Friday night, then had six different players score in Sunday’s win.
