A lot has changed in 29 years. This year, the Minneapolis Area Convention and Visitors Bureau projects the four-day All-Star Game events will bring in $75 million, and draw 160,000 visitors.
Council Presents Plan For Mpls. Cops In 2014Looking for a way to overcome some of this year's problems, a citizens advisory council presented a plan for Minneapolis police for 2014. Chief Janeé Harteau assembled the 50 member group this year to improve relations between the police department and the community.
