Police: 1 Dead In North Minneapolis Drive-By Shooting

Minneapolis police are investigating a deadly drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday night. A man was shot outside a home in the 3900 block of Fremont Avenue North just before 6:30 p.m. He later died at the hospital.

Man Found Guilty Of Shooting 3 Women 26 Times At Birthday Party

A 21-year-old Minneapolis man was found guilty Tuesday of shooting three women at a birthday party last July, according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s office. Delonte Ahshone Thomas is guilty of one count of attempted first-degree murder and three counts of attempted second-degree murder for a shooting on July 9, 2014, in north Minneapolis.

Brooklyn Center Man Pleads Guilty To Murder At 4th of July Party

A Brooklyn Center man has pleaded guilty to second-degree unintentional murder in connection to a fatal shooting at a Fourth of July party last year in north Minneapolis. The Hennepin County Attorney’s office says 25-year-old Joseph Lee Smith is accused of shooting 28-year-old Cabrie Young in the chest after a fight broke out at a party on the 3400 block of Dupont Avenue North.

M.E. Rules Homicide In Man’s Death 15 Years After Shooting

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has ruled the death of a man who was shot multiple times in 2000 but died 15 years later a homicide. Sheldon Mason, who was 40 years old at the time of his death in April, was shot in October 2000 on the 1500 block of East 25th Street in Minneapolis.

Three people died Saturday after a male reportedly shot his mother’s husband and then set their northwestern Wisconsin home on fire, according to the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities responded at about 11 a.m. to a residence at 16742 N Knutson Lake Road in the town of Edgewater after a woman reported that her son shot her husband and set their home on fire.

Funeral Scheduled For Man Killed In Wal-Mart Shooting

Memorial services have been scheduled for a Grand Forks man killed when another man walked into a Wal-Mart store and started shooting. Dahl Funeral Home says visitation and a prayer service for 70-year-old Gregory Weiland is Friday night at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Grand Forks, and Weiland’s funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
