Police said Tuesday an arrest has been made in the shooting last Thursday of a 2-month-old boy in north Minneapolis. Authorities said a 17-year-old boy, an uncle of the victim, turned himself into police at about 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said Terrance Franklin was shot on May 10 after he tried to grab an officer’s gun.
Authorities have identified the officers involved in the shootout that left a deputy injured and a man dead earlier this week in Crow Wing County. Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl said deputy Scott Goddard received a gunshot wound to the shoulder during the shootout. Both Goddard and fellow deputy Adam Kronstedt, who was also involved in the confrontation, remain on administrative leave.
St. Paul Police say they’ve arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of a Minnesota National Guard sergeant earlier this week. According to the St. Paul Police Department’s Twitter account, 24-year-old Heather Schwarz, of St. Paul, and 25-year-old Aaron Allen, of South St. Paul, have been arrested, and authorities aren’t seeking any other suspects. Charges are expected on Monday.
