Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder says his injured left shoulder is ready to go and he wants to start against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Coach Leslie Frazier says he’ll wait until Saturday before making a decision. Ponder is still recovering from a dislocated left shoulder, but the right-handed quarterback was able to go through practice this week. He says he expects to be ready to go on Sunday. Ponder was injured in the third quarter of the Vikings’ last game against Washington. That was a Thursday night game, though, so he’s had a little extra time to treat the injury and prepare for the Seahawks.
Minneapolis police are searching for a suspect after three people including a toddler were shot and seriously injured on the city’s north side. Police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington said all three victims are expected to survive, but police can’t say for sure if the people who live in the area are in danger or not.
Motorists in Minnesota had better move over for emergency responders Wednesday.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation said motorists can expect delays Wednesday and Thursday on Highway 52 in St. Paul because of an emergency road repair.
