Coming off its second straight 8-5 season and third consecutive season to end with a bowl game, the University of Minnesota football team opens spring practice on Tuesday.
Sunday, more than 100 St. Thomas football players will be back on the field as the Tommies open their 2014 spring practice session. After missing out on the postseason in 2013, you can bet they’ll be as hungry as ever to get back to work.
University of Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill announced the team’s spring football practice schedule on Tuesday and for the fourth straight year, all practices will be open to the public. Kill and the Gophers will open spring practice with an afternoon workout on March 4.
Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill says he feels much more comfortable in his second year as head of the Golden Gophers program, and he hopes that his players feel just as comfortable with this coaching staff.
