Hastings Man Gets 21 Years For Sexually Assaulting Student

A 47-year-old Hastings man was sentenced Thursday to more than 21 years in prison as part of a plea agreement after he admitted to sexually assaulting a college student. Louis Richard Oliver was sentenced in Hennepin County District Court to 260 months in prison, the Justice Department said. Oliver pleaded guilty earlier this month to first-degree criminal sexual conduct and to assaulting a St. Catherine’s student last November.
