Authorities say one person died and another was hurt after a house fire in St. Cloud Sunday afternoon. The St. Cloud Police and Fire Departments were called at about 1:37 p.m. to a report of a fire at 2041 Northway Circle.
A St. Cloud man is in custody on suspicion of intentionally starting a fire in a woman’s apartment early Saturday morning. St. Cloud Police say firefighters and officers were called to an apartment complex on the 800 block of 13th Street South just before 6 a.m.
Authorities said as many as three rooms at a St. Cloud veterans home suffered water damage after a fire on Sunday. The St. Cloud Fire Department received a report of a fire at about 3:08 p.m. on the 800 block of 8th Avenue South.
The cause of fire at Roosevelt School in St. Cloud, Minn. on Saturday has been linked to lightning. According to the St. Cloud Fire Department, officials responded to an automatic alarm around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14.
Authorities said the body of a 24-year-old man was found in a garage fire at a St. Cloud rental home earlier this week. Police identified the victim as Torry Niles Wiebke of St. Cloud.
Authorities in St. Cloud are investigating after a man was found dead in a garage fire on Tuesday. St. Cloud Police and the St. Cloud Fire Department responded to the garage fire at about 7:07 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of 36th Avenue.
A 22-year-old Stearns County Jail inmate died Friday morning after suffering a medical emergency, police said.
