A 31-year-old woman was arrested Friday for a hit and run in St. Cloud that injured one man, and later attacked a hospital security guard while in custody. According to St. Cloud Police, Danielle Ilene Bennett is accused of a hit and run early Friday morning on the 1000 block of 7th Street Southeast.
A juvenile male is in the hospital after being shot twice in St. Cloud Tuesday night, according to the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force.
A woman and a 9-month-old child were taken to a hospital in St. Cloud, Minn. after being involved in a two car crash Friday morning. According to St. Cloud police, at 6:20 a.m. a car traveling westbound on 12th Street went through a red light at 33rd Avenue and struck another vehicle. Kyle Seamans, 30, was cited for a semaphore violation after running the light.
Authorities said a standoff with police that lasted more than two hours Tuesday afternoon ended peacefully with the arrest of a 26-year-old man. The incident started with St. Cloud Police attempting a felony traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by a man who had an active warrant for a narcotics probation violation.

A Sauk Rapids man fought police officers, deputies and staff at St. Cloud Hospital after being arrested Saturday afternoon. Shawn Thomas Iees, 26, was spotted by Stearns County deputies and St. Cloud Police officers just before 2 p.m. while walking on Veteran’s Drive near 24th Avenue North in St. Cloud, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s office. Officers attempted to stop Iees, who has three outstanding warrants, but he fled, leading to a brief foot chase.
Authorities are investigating a shooting incident in Sartell on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred at about noon at a strip mall on the 1700 block of Pine Cone Rd. N., according to Lt. Jon Lentz of the Stearns County Sheriff’s office. Police were also called to CentraCare Health Plaza in St. Cloud, which is about five miles away from the scene of the shooting.

A woman was robbed of her purse at gunpoint outside of a St. Cloud pharmacy on Christmas evening, according to St. Cloud Police. The robbery took place after 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy at 2420 W. Division Street. A 32-year-old St. Cloud woman was approached by a male gunman who demanded her purse. The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years of age and between 5’8″-5’9″ with a thin build. He had facial hair, including a goatee, and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.
Authorities said a 15-year-old boy was taken into custody Thursday night after throwing hot grease from a frying pan on his mother during a domestic dispute. St. Cloud Police were called to the 3500 block of 3rd Street North at about 3:56 p.m. Thursday on a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.
