Brodzinski broke a 1-1 tie at 1:38 of the third period and added an insurance goal on the power play at 9:43, as the Huskies (5-5-1, 2-2-1 NCHC) handed UND its first road loss of the season. The Huskies outshot UND 34-27.
Minnesota Advances To Frozen Four Justin Kloos scored twice and Adam Wilcox made 24 saved shots to help top-seeded Minnesota beat St. Cloud State 4-0 on Sunday in the NCAA West Regional final. Minnesota (27-6-6) will face North Dakota in the Frozen Four semifinals in Philadelphia on April 10. Boston College will play Union in the other semifinal.

Former UND Football Coach Lands At St. Cloud State Former University of North Dakota head football coach Chris Mussman has landed a job as an assistant at St. Cloud State. The Minnesota school has hired Mussman as co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

St. Paul Police Welcomes 1st Female Somali Officer St. Paul Police welcomed the first Somali female officer to the department on Saturday. Kadra Mohamed joined the department as part of its community liaison program. Kenyan-born Mohamed graduated from Central High School in 2010. She will graduate from St. Cloud State with a criminal justice degree in May, but she got her badge Saturday and spoke some words of wisdom to future recruits.
