Man Accused In Fatal Fishing Dispute Charged With Jumping Bail

The man who is accused of stabbing a Wisconsin fisherman along the St. Croix River in April has been arrested for jumping bail. According to Polk County records, 19-year-old Levi Acre-Kendall was charged Thursday with two felony counts of jumping bail.

Former Polk County Sheriff’s Deputy Laid To Rest

Polk County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Seversen was laid to rest Saturday, 23 years to the day after he was shot in Webster, Wisconsin. Seversen was when he was was trying to stop a gunman who killed another deputy. He was 27 years old. Seversen died Monday of medical complications at 50 years old.

Man Charged With DUI After Crash With Child In Car

A 21-year-old Amery, Wis. man is charged with driving under the influence after crashing his car with a 6-year-old boy inside. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, Andrew Graski was involved in a two-car crash Friday evening east near St. Croix Falls on Highway 65. When a Polk County deputy and a state trooper responded to the scene, they noticed indications of marijuana use by Graski.
