The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating after a house exploded in the Central Lakes area. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, at 1 a.m. police received a call of debris in the roadway in the 3300 block of Highway 53.
Minnesota will soon have a new city. KBJR-TV reports an administrative law judge has granted the Town of Rice Lake’s petition for incorporation. The judge has set an election day of October 13 to decide on a mayor and city council members.
