Gov. Mark Dayton delivered his last State of the State address Wednesday night as the state’s current leader, urging unity among Minnesotans. He also said over the last four years he’s been in office, Minnesota’s economy is now on the mend.
Gov. Mark Dayton has circled a date on his April calendar to deliver a State of the State speech to a joint session of the Minnesota Legislature. Dayton said Wednesday that he’s prepared to give the address on April 23.
In his third “State of the State” address Wednesday night at the State Capitol, Gov. Dayton focused mainly on the budget, but he did throw in one surprise. He gave his biggest statement yet in support of legalizing gay marriage.
