The synthetic drug trial of the owner and manager of the Discontent skate shop in Bismarck is in the hands of the jury. Owner Thomas Teply, of Moorhead, Minnesota, and manager Steven Johnson, of Bismarck, are accused of operating a business where synthetic drugs were sold.
An employee of a jewelry store in Woodbury, Minn. was held at gunpoint Saturday morning during an attempted robbery. According to the employee of Johnson Jewelers, the suspect entered the store around 9 a.m. The suspect produced a gun and the employee complied with the demands, filling a bag with jewelry.
Police say a Des Moines man accidentally shot off the tip of his finger while cleaning his gun, and the blown piece hit his mother.
