Minneapolis city officials said Friday that with fall here, crews will soon begin street sweeping. Officials with Minneapolis Public Works said street sweeping will begin Oct. 21 and last about four weeks. Drivers who park on city streets will need to move their cars so crews can do an adequate job of cleaning up city streets.
It’s an annual sign of spring in the Twin Cities, but it’s just a matter of time when it will actually start. City crews in Minneapolis will start street sweeping very soon, as early as Tuesday.
