The Minneapolis Fire Department battled two fires – and bitter cold – in northeast Minneapolis overnight. Shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to the first fire, located at 81 St. Anthony Parkway. Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke showing from the roof of a large warehouse and learned that an aluminum pile was burning inside.
A structure fire broke out near north Minneapolis Saturday morning, according to fire officials. According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, crews responded to the report of a structure fire shortly after 7 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Broadway.
No one was hurt after fire broke out at a single-home residence Thursday night in 44000 block of Hillside Court in St. Peter, Minn., LeSueur County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Firefighters from several departments are battling a large brush fire near Ulen in northwestern Minnesota.
