An investigation into an alleged incident of bias against an Air National Guard serviceperson at a SuperAmerica last month has concluded that there is no evidence to support the event actually happened.
SuperAmerica says that an alleged incident last month involving an Air National Guard serviceperson was “a misunderstanding on both parts.” The Facebook posts of the military member allege that she was denied service at the SuperAmerica on Post Road near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Authorities hope pictures of a ring may help solve the mystery of a man’s identity. A 10-carat gold ring with a large red stone was found with human remains near Albert Lea on Monday. It was described as resembling a class ring.
Investigators are trying to identify human remains found off the shoulder of Interstate 90 in southern Minnesota. A landowner in Freeborn County called 911 Monday to report the discovery. The remains were found near a fence along the south side of I-90 near Highway 13.
Two men face charges after a double shooting in Brainerd early Sunday evening, which left one man dead and a woman seriously injured. Investigators think the same men may have robbed a Fridley SuperAmerica at 5667 University Ave. NE on Thursday morning, also at 5:45 a.m. A shot was fired during Thursday’s robbery, but no one was injured.
