A famed jazz club in St. Paul that has been closed for months is set to reopen, and it may be under the auspices of another esteemed Twin Cities jazz establishment. If the deal goes through, the Dakota Jazz Club will take over the space which formerly housed by the Artists’ Quarter in downtown St. Paul.
The last songs are about to be played at The Artists’ Quarter in downtown St. Paul. The underground jazz club closes New Year’s Eve with a performance by torch singer Carole Martin. The Artists’ Quarter is located in the basement of the Historic Hamm Building.
