A police officer is recovering today after a chase and crash Thursday night in St. Paul. It happened around 10:45 a.m. near University and Milton Avenues. An officer tried to stop a car driving with the lights off, but the driver took-off.
It took firefighters from a special rescue unit hours to reach a man who had fallen 60 feet in an empty grain bin in Minneapolis. According to fire crews, the man fell into a silo located near Thomas and Glenwood Avenues around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say a woman was shot in the shoulder in North Minneapolis overnight. Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Thomas Avenue, where they found the victim.
An 18-year-old man now faces more criminal charges after one of the people he allegedly shot in September was removed from life support.
