The Minnesota Vikings listed nine players on the injury report, eight injured players and one non-injury related absence. Sharrif Floyd and Brandon Watts did not participate because of injuries and Adrian Peterson sat out for an undisclosed reason. Mike Harris, Charlie Johnson, Zach Line, Michael Mauti and Xavier Rhodes were limited in practice. Jabari Price was a full participant.

Tom Brady and Matt Cassel have been close friends for going on 10 years now. When the Patriots visit Minnesota on Sunday, the two quarterbacks will face each other on the field for the first time. Brady and Cassel developed that friendship during Cassel’s first four seasons in the league with the Patriots.
The Minnesota Vikings are still trying to turn the national perception of the team, but head coach Mike Zimmer doesn’t care. He only cares about what the team can control. Zimmer is optimistic that almost all injured players will be available to practice this week. The Vikings re-signed offensive linemen Brandon Fusco the day before beating the St. Louis Rams. The team made a roster move by reaching an injury settlement with Jamarca Sanford.
