Tornadoes Touch Down In West-Central MinnesotaSome tornadoes have touched down in west-central Minnesota. The National Weather Service says a storm chaser reported a brief tornado touchdown near Hawick in Kandiyohi County about 6 p.m. Thursday. Another tornado touched down earlier near Norway Lake, also in Kandiyohi County. The sheriff's office reports no damage.

The touchdown was in Long Lake Township, where the sheriff's office says a building owned by Civil Ag Group sustained extensive damage.
