Authorities have identified a Minnesota man as the person struck and killed by a vehicle in the dark parking lot of a southern Indiana truck stop. The Clark County Coroner’s Office said Friday that 58-year-old Billy Ray Evans of Hill City, Minn., died at the scene when he was hit by a large truck. Evans was found on the ground Thursday night at a truck stop just off Interstate 65 near the town of Memphis, about 15 miles north of Louisville, Ky.
After allegedly cursing at a truck stop to an alarming degree, a 34-year-old man was arrested Saturday in central Minnesota and charged with disorderly conduct, authorities say.
Authorities are investigating abduction claims by a Minnesota woman who went missing from a western South Dakota truck stop and then returned a day later.
