FDA: Say Goodbye To Trans Fats Forever

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is taking trans fats entirely out of the food supply, as health officials said the heart clogging fats are simply unsafe. “I think that is good,” Meghan Dail. “I mean obviously it’s a huge problem in the U.S.”

Protest To Lift Blood Donation Ban For Gay Men

Opponents of a federal ban on blood donations by men who have sex with men are demonstrating at a St. Paul blood bank. Organizer Zachary Fincher says about 20 to 40 men will try to donate blood at the Memorial Blood Centers’ St. Paul location Friday.

Authorities Seize Mislabeled Drugs From St. Paul Market

Authorities said Thursday they have seized hundreds of pounds of cyanide, steroids, opiates and other mislabeled or unlabeled drugs from more than 15 vendors at a Hmong market in St. Paul.
