Federal Agents Search West St. Paul Restaurant

Federal immigration agents have searched a Minnesota restaurant as part of an investigation. Agents from Homeland Security Investigations searched the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet restaurant in West St. Paul Tuesday. The division is part of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Counties Say It’s Too Costly To Hold Prisoners For ICE

It’s going to take an order from a judge for county jails to hold prisoners requested to be detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Hennepin County officials made the announcement on Wednesday. Ramsey County officials also say the county will no long participate in holding inmates after serving their time.

Priest Guilty Of Abuse In U.S. Is Deported To India

A priest who was convicted of fondling a 12-year-old girl while he was working in the Diocese of Winona has been deported to his native India. Officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement say 48-year-old Leo Charles Koppala was turned over to authorities in New Delhi on Wednesday.
