The University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus was ranked as the 29th best global university, according to a study done by U.S. News & World Report. The study, released Tuesday, ranks the U of M at number nine among U.S. public institutions and number three among Big Ten Conference public schools.
For the first time, U.S. News & World Report says the Mayo Clinic in Rochester is the best hospital in the country. According to the magazine, the Mayo is ranked nationally in 15 adult and nine pediatric specialties.
