About 50 brass flower vases were stolen from Mahtomedi grave sites over the weekend and authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating them, and in identifying the suspects involved. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mahtomedi reported that the 50-some 10-inch tall and 4-inch wide vases are each valued at $200. They went missing on Saturday and Sunday.
The vases stolen from a Crystal cemetery might have been found by authorities Thursday night, after some park-goers reported some suspicious containers.
